With 13 years’ background in user experience design, my expertise includes information architecture, creative direction, copywriting, content strategy, video production and storytelling. Much of my work has been performed in a leadership role, and I think nothing is cooler than the power of collaborative genius.
I am passionate about the creative process and have a particular interest in community-based initiatives and the web as a platform for egalitarian participation. My client list includes UBC, the Canadian Tourism Commission, the Winter 2010 Bid Committee, BMO, Chrysler, Tribal DDB, Engine Digital, TELUS, Electronic Arts, Jenny Craig, BC Hydro, Whirlpool, Bodog, Nintendo and DIRECTV.
When I'm not working or sleeping I write: short fiction, poetry and novels. Read some at http://eikokawano.com/
